Caregiver Programs

Caregiver Programs

Canada’s Caregiver Programs provide opportunities for foreign caregivers to work and eventually gain permanent residency while offering vital care to children, seniors, and individuals with medical needs. These programs acknowledge the valuable contributions of caregivers to Canadian families and offer a clear path to temporary work and permanent residence. At Time to Fly Immigration, we support caregivers in obtaining work permits, navigating pilot programs, and applying for PR to help them build a stable future in Canada.

Home Child Care Provider Pilot

The Home Child Care Provider Pilot enables qualified caregivers to come to Canada and work as nannies or child caregivers for families. To be eligible, applicants must have at least one year of experience, a valid job offer from a Canadian employer, and meet language and education requirements. This program also offers a direct path to permanent residency. Our experts help secure job offers, prepare application documents, and ensure compliance with all program requirements.

Home Support Worker Pilot (Nanny Program)

The Home Support Worker Pilot is tailored for caregivers who provide personal care and household assistance to seniors and individuals with disabilities. Applicants must fulfill work experience, language proficiency, and educational requirements. We assist caregivers throughout the entire process, from obtaining LMIA-exempt work permits to submitting PR applications, ensuring a seamless path to permanent residency.

Interim Pathway for Caregivers (Where Applicable)

The Interim Pathway for Caregivers was a temporary program designed for caregivers already working in Canada who did not meet the requirements of previous pathways. If similar programs are introduced in the future, we assist eligible candidates in applying and securing their permanent residency status.

Caregiver Work Permits and Extensions

Caregivers coming to Canada typically need a work permit before starting employment. We help with applications for new caregiver work permits, renewals, and extensions, ensuring uninterrupted employment and legal status in Canada. Additionally, we support the transition from a work permit to permanent residency under eligible caregiver programs.
At Visaland Immigration, we value the commitment and hard work of caregivers. Our team is dedicated to making the immigration process as smooth as possible, helping caregivers and their families achieve long-term stability in Canada.
